Tuesday August 6 - Normal pool hours and practice time Wednesday August 7 - Mohawk Swim has been cancelled. Normal practice times. Thursday August 8 - Pool open 9:00 - 5:00p. Closed at 5:00 for Annual Sports Banquet (lifeguards included). Banquet starts at 5:30 Friday August 9 - Sunday August 11 Normal Pool Hours

🚒 🚒 You know you are retired when you listen to the police scanner for fun. Here’s a good night story for you 😴 Today around 5:00 I got a call from one of our best lifeguards, Sarah, in a somewhat worried voice. Her first words to me were “We have a big problem.” She explained that while the guards were closing the pool because of a separate issue with 🤮, they heard a sudden and loud hissing noise coming from behind the green fence where all of the maintenance and pump equipment rest. As she looked over, she spotted a stream of gas and steam coming from one of the O2 tanks. Unsure of what of it was or what to do, she called me at home. Immediately I asked if anyone was injured, and luckily there was not so I instructed Sarah to evacuate the area, but at the same time making sure no members go into the pool areas until further notice. Sarah passed the word on to the other guards, cleared the pool deck from members and waited for further instruc...

🌲🥇🏊🏻♂️🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♂️ WE DID IT! 🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♂️🏊🏻♀️🥇🌲 Congratulations to all of the LCC Swimmers who swam hard and cheered harder at yesterday’s championships. There were some great races with stiff competition, but Litchfield conquered many of those events placing in Top 3!!! 🏅 The hillside was jam packed with excited spectators cheering us on. The only hiccup? Mother Nature (again) ⛈. A big thank you to our Pool Chair - Liz DeVos and her committee for helping and supporting the team. Another big thank you to my handsome, yet quick-whistling brother Andrew for starting the meet and getting the trials over in record pace! Thank you to all the parent volunteers for ribbon writing and timing in the blazing sun and putting your own lives at risk as that barbaric storm crept up on us. WAY TO GO GREEN!
